jim boyle | vice president of integrated marketing

A recent addition, Jim joins lovio george from the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA), where he served as director of marketing for nearly 10 years. At the DIA he helped guide two major branding campaigns (the last of which earned 11 Addy Awards), in addition to the two most highly attended exhibitions in the museum’s history – Van Gogh: Face to Face and Degas and the Dance. He also was deeply involved in the product side of the marketing equation, serving on leadership groups that guided exhibitions, programming and gallery installation, and ultimately gaining valuable insights into the types of experiences that motivate people.

Jim also served as Marketing Manager at the Detroit Public Library, where he helped shape consistent brand communications across 26 city-wide branches, and as the Regional Manager for Roundball Enterprises, a former sports marketing firm in Chicago. At lovio george he is helping guide integrated and strategic marketing programs for clients such as United Solar Ovonic, the world’s largest producers of flexible solar panels, Midtown and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, among others.

He is a passionate urbanite and lives in Detroit’s West Village, where he vows to never-again remodel a historic home. He runs approximately six miles a week in eight separate sessions, is addicted to black coffee, and seeks head-scratching experiences that force him to think of things other than his own personal comfort – which he admittedly cares deeply about.
